There have been at least 20 road closures reported to the City of San Marcos. Kristi Wyatt, Director of San Marcos Communications, said that it is unsafe to be on the roads and residents should only leave their home if it is absolutely necessary.
“We’re urging people to just stay home if they can and to please be sure to check for dangerous areas, I’m looking at a list of probably 20 road closures that we know about so there’s no reason to be out in this weather in the potential of flooding if you don’t have to be.”
