Artist KB the Boo Bonic

Texas State Alumni KB the Boo Bonic took stage to give Austin a little taste of what she’s about. In only 15 minutes, the hardcore femcee wowed the crowd with her dirty south swagger at Weird City, which featured 30+ hip-hop artists, DJs and graffiti. She began her set with songs from her latest mixtape Batsh!t, an ode to all things Austin.

Confident and humble, she works hard to represent female rappers, an industry dominated by men. She’s lit, and she knows it. Her set banged from start to finish, ending with “SSW” from her mixtape. Encouraging the crowd to sing along brought the diverse audience together which shows the power of great music. KB the Boo Bonic held it down. She hopes to release a new EP by the end of 2016.
