Kanye West and Wiz Khalifa Duke it Out on Twitter

“Bro first of all you stole your whole sh** from Cudi.” Shots were fired Wednesday afternoon in Twitter world after an irrational Kanye West began a rampage of tweets to rapper Wiz Khalifa. The feud technically began on Jan. 26, 2016 when Kanye West tweeted he will be changing the name of his new album from “Swish” to “Waves.”

Wiz Khalifa was bothered enough to take it upon himself to remind everyone on Twitter that Harlem rapper Max B (who is currently serving a 75 year prison sentence for a deadly robbery) was the “wavy one. He created the wave. There is no wave without him,” he tweeted.  Kanye did eventually acknowledge and give credit to Max B, but Wiz remained displeased. The next day Wiz tweeted “Hit this kk and become yourself” which was the boiling point for Kanye because he automatically assumed Wiz was subtweeting about his wife, Kim Kardashian, but to everyone’s surprise the letters “KK” can mean more than just Kim Kardashian. Who would’ve guessed?

KK actually is Wiz’s abbreviation for his strain of cannabis, Khalifa Kush. After a series of vulgar and unnecessary tweets from Kanye to Wiz firing shots at not only him but also the mother of his child, Amber Rose (who is also Kanye West’s ex), and even their child. “You have distracted me from my creative process,” Kanye states. Over 20 tweets later of Kanye’s busy Wednesday afternoon firing shots at Wiz from all kinds of mood swings, he deleted all of them and tweeted “I’m happy that I now know that KK means weed…please excuse the confusion… now back to #WAVES”

Although Kanye tried to delete his episode, Twitter world had a great laugh out of it, not hesitating for a second to screen shot every tweet, make hilarious memes and chime in on the feud.

KIT KAT Canada took full advantage of the situation and creatively tweeted, “Hey Kanye, know what else KK stands for? And sorry you had to take a break from your creative process. –KK #BestWrapperAlive”

Chicago rapper Mick Jenkins had a previous album title named “The Waters” and recently also came out with a shorter album titled “Waves” last August as a build upon “The Waters.” Jenkins humorously tweeted “New album title, SWISH”

Did Wiz really mean for KK to stand for Khalifa Kush with no intentions of a passive aggressive attack at Kanye? Is there really no “Wave” without imprisoned rapper Max B? Is KIT KAT really the #BestWrapperAlive? All this middle school drama over a simple word that a Harlem rapper used in his music, (before he was sentenced for coordinated murder of course.) Maybe everyone should just pull a Paris Hilton and trademark it.
