Microsoft Office
If you have Microsoft account, you can download any Microsoft Office app for free. These apps include Onenote, Word, Excel and Powerpoint. These work on phones and tablets. Have a group assignment but can’t all get together to collaborate? Download Google Docs and invite your partners to work on a document with you. You can all view it and work on it at the same time or different times.
Top Hat
Many professors have started opting out of the clicker method and have moved on to Top Hat, an app that allows students to answer question and follow along with presentations. If your professors uses Top Hat, you have to purchase an account but a one time purchase works for all of your classes that use it. Once you have an account, it’s easy to download the app and login on your phone or tablet during class.

If you have yet to download the free TxState app, what are you waiting for? You can access tracs, real time bus schedules, bobcat mail and so much more. It’s an essential for every bobcat.
