Calliope Musicals Talks About the Evolution of Their Music

Calliope Musicals is a psychedelic, party-rock, folk band from Austin, TX. They played a fantastic show here in San Marcos at KIVA Lounge & Bar on March 4. Beforehand, I was privileged with the opportunity to interview this gallant group of idiosyncratic individuals. Our interview features an assortment of diverse questions and even stranger answers such as discovering which creatures lurk inside the murky trenches of Craig’s big beard and the evolution of their music from their last album, Clouds on Fire, to their newest album, Time Owes You Nothing.
