Wild Moccasins Discuss New Project at Float Fest

Zahira Gutierrez and Cody Swan, two fifths of Wild Moccasins, joined me for a chat the day before their show to talk about what’s in store for them after Float Fest.
Straight out of Houston, they are no strangers to Texas summer festivals this time of year. They mention their new project is currently in the works and announce the coming release has a distinct sound diverting from previous works. The songwriters review their past and current influences that impact their sound and discuss the evolution of their music over the years.
Needless to say, we are all anticipating new music from this talented bunch.
