San Maximum: Lolita’s Cafe

Lolita’s Cafe is one of the most popular spots in town to get a taco. This hot spot has a faithful customer base, some of which visit this restaurant daily. The influx of customers Lolita’s receives actually backs up one of the busiest roads in San Marcos every day. The tacos are tasty, and the staff always makes them quickly and up to customer satisfaction. While waiting for a taco, customers sometimes park their car in the adjacent car wash. Lolita’s owns its own serve yourself car wash as well, so while waiting for their order to be ready, customers can wash their car. Lotlita’s Cafe is a very popular spot in San Marcos, so it is definitely a spot someone must make in order to gain the maximum San Marcos experience.

Lolita’s Cafe serves both breakfast and lunch tacos. Both are served all day, so it does not matter what kind of taco you are into because they will serve it to you any time they are open. The breakfast menu contains the classic ingredients of potato, egg, bean and cheese, etc. The lunch menu is the part of the menu I like to pick from because of the meat: barbacoa, lengua, chorizo, etc. The tacos at Lolita’s Cafe are all made with fresh ingredients. This is a great fact to know because it helps explain why the tacos taste so good. The tacos also do not cost too much, which makes college students like myself happy. These tacos already taste great just they way they are made, but if the cashier asks “Do you want some pico on your taco?” (which they will), say yes. The pico de gallo is delicious, and not ordering it is a mistake.

Lolita’s Car Wash is a popular spot for San Marcos people to wash their car. It is a serve-yourself car wash, which a lot of people like because they can make sure that every part of their car is actually clean before they leave. The car wash is built on a slope, so some of the car ports do not have as high of clearance as the others, so make sure your car will fit before driving into the port. There is also a port for eighteen-wheelers. Do not use this port if you do not drive an eighteen-wheeler. After your car is washed, there is an outdoor station to vacuum the inside of your car as well.

Lolita’s Cafe is very much loved by the people in San Marcos. The tacos are delicious and the car wash is helpful. Customers stop by here for one of two reasons, but all leave happier than they were before. Lotlita’s Cafe is definitely a place that a person will have to go to in order to gain the maximum San Marcos experience.
