Top Halloween Costumes for College Students

Halloween is creeping around the corner, which means that it is time for you to rummage through ideas for a top-notch costume. Don’t let yourself stress out about being best dressed, because I know it can feel like no matter what you choose, you will come up short. No need to worry any longer! Here are some of the top costumes that you will see all through Halloween 2016. Take a look and consider some of these costumes for the fun filled weekend of ghosts and ghouls.  

Scary

The Clown: We all know why this costume will be seen all over the streets. With the recent up rise in clown sightings, how can anyone pass up this sure to fright outfit of the night?

Zombie: When anything dead comes out to play, you can bet that there will be fear. From a zombie nurse to a zombie circus carnie, there is something to be. Grab some fake blood, faux scars and ripped clothes, and begin the fright fest.

Character

Suicide Squad: This movie swept the box office, which means it is no surprise that many have seen the characters in action. With that said, you will see a lot of Harley Quinn costumes walking around. The only question left is, can you do it better?

Pokémon: We all know what the hype is for Pokémon. Any character, or even any PokéStop, is an idea to be considered. You could even get a group together and have a character, PokéStop and PokéBall.

Celebrities

Trump and Clinton: I don’t think it’s any secret to say that the presidential candidate masks in the Halloween stores will be almost sold out. Get them fast, and win the race…no pun intended.

Kim and Kanye: This is going to be a top costume for couples all over. With the unruly amounts of drama, news and updates about these two contently bombarding the media, there are bound to be more than one Kim and Kanye on the streets for Halloween.

Sexy

Wonder Woman: Strong, sexy and everything that you want to be, Wonder Woman is so in. Give yourself the upper hand for Halloween and make this look yours.  Wonder Woman is sexy in her own way, and so are you, so let it shine!

Magic Mike: What could be better than re-creating Channing Tatum’s character? Magic Mike is well known name thanks to the recent release of films, and with a little bit of baby oil and smooth moves, you will have an eye catching costume.

Funny

Dinosaur: Texas State has seen its share of this blow up T-rex around campus. The stone ages are making a comedic come back, and you need to be in the know. Get your costume before they go pre-historic!  

Sausage Party: The sausages and the buns were the stars of this film. The unruly humor of these characters made quite the impact on viewers. You are sure to get some good smiles if you choose costumes such as these.

Couple

The Purge: You and your bae can be ultimate anarchy. Forget what anyone else thinks, tonight is for you two to look like the bad-a couple that you are. Get some cute, dressy clothes, grab a mask and you are set to go.

Ghost Busters: Who you going to call? Your boo is who you should call when you decide that this is what you two are going to be. Don’t be afraid of the ghosts and ghouls that are out on Halloween weekend, your partner will be there to save you!
