A brand new festival has been born in the central Texas market and have already been crowned as one of the most unique and diverse festivals in the market. Booked by Graham Williams, founder of Fun Fun Fun Fest and head of the freshly launched Margin Walker, the Sound on Sound still holds it’s underground music scene roots that were planted in the beginnings of Fun Fun Fun Fest. The festival’s quirkiness builds upon itself with the grounds at Sherwood Forest Faire, a 23-acre village set in the Renaissance period.
The comprehensive line up itself is heavily diverse dipping its toes in chillwave, hip-hop, noise-rock, 90’s tinged rock, as well as highlighting the best of the local scene here in Austin. Our music staff has gathered a playlist of all of the artists on the bill that we spin (and love) here on our airwaves. Your trek to the castle grounds now has a soundtrack full of the best of Beach House, Deerhunter, Purity Ring, FIDLAR, Thee Oh Sees, Wild Nothing, Bully, Alex G and many more!
