After a tough loss against the UT Rio Grande Valley Vaqueros on Wednesday, the Bobcats came out with a new fire in their stomachs against the Prairie View A&M Panthers. The Bobcats came stumbling only putting up 28 first half points, but ended up getting the win 64-57.

The Bobcats’ two dynamic play makers, Kavin Gilder-Tilbury and Nijal Pearson, came out firing, combining for 28 points, 16 rebounds and leading the way for a Bobcat team that is now 3-1 at home this season. The Bobcats also got help from senior guard Bobby Conley, who pitched in five points and excellent defense. On a day when Santa came to town, the Bobcats were able to play with a little holiday magic.
After going into the second half with a close game, the Bobcats showed that they are becoming a team that can comeback and show resilience. The Bobcats take a week off and pick up again on the road against Tulsa on the 17th before coming back for one final non-conference home game against Howard Payne on Dec. 20.
