In the Public Interest Hosts
The topic of past presidents stems from the recent election of the 45th president of the United States, Donald J. Trump. The businessman and former TV star turned political with his nomination as the Republican party presidential nominee last year. Despite polls predicting a loss, Trump narrowly defeated Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton last November, and was sworn in as President on January 20th. As America’s new president settles into his new roles at the White House, we will look at past presidents to see what obstacles President Trump will have to overcome to make a lasting mark on history.
