People get hungry all the time, it happens. As humans we must eat in order to survive. Even when we aren’t hungry we may just eat to eat. Although this is true, why is it that even when this sense of hunger comes up we tend to only consider the obvious choices: a restaurant, fast-food restaurant or a corner store? Very diverse, right?
There is some hope left. Have you ever heard of a Food Truck? Food Trucks are a widely underrated and overlooked business when it comes to quality food and service. This is simply a misunderstanding; have you not seen the movie Chef? It’s on Netflix, go watch it.
Anyways, let’s dive into this idea of Food Trucks together:
Food trucks DO serve quality food
Since the business is solely focused on the truck at hand, employees concern themselves with the food as customers come. This allows for customers to get their food hot and freshly made, unlike in restaurants where your meal may have been sitting aside unissued to anyone yet.

Food trucks offer a great setting for conversationÂ
Restaurants are basically an enclosed space where customers voices bounce all around the walls. This doesn’t allow for decent conversation, which is why Food Trucks have the conversational advantage with the wide-open space. Eating outside the food truck allows you to talk as you please, in any manner and at any level.
Parks offer a wide-variety of food
Food truck parks offer trucks that specialize on food you are in the mood for and their sole purpose to cook that dish for you. If you want tacos, there is a truck for that. If you want burgers, there is a truck for that. If you want ice cream, there is a truck for that too!
That’s basically all that needs to be said after posting the list above. Therefore, if you are ever hungry but bored with the constant In n’ Out, go to a food truck and get yourself a taco! It is a great experience with great food, and is relatively cheap. Don’t worry about not having one near you, because there are usually food trucks scattered around every city. For you locals in San Marcos there is a park located right next to Texas State University called The Hitch, which holds a variety of food trucks. If you’re in Austin, just go to a random corner and i’m sure there will be one ready to serve you. So go ahead, visit a food truck and gather your own opinion; you won’t regret it!
