KTSW’s Social Media Administrator: Inspirational Woman

Belen Ramos, KTSW’s Social Media Administrator, speaks out on women’s equality during International Women’s Day. When striving for success, Ramos says she finds inspiration from strong women in her life: Beyonce, Ruth Bader Ginsberg, Linda Chavez and female family members. Ramos says that as a hispanic women, in a male dominated workforce, she is one of the people who can advance her gender and beat stereotypes. For example, women such as Hillary Clinton are often times criticized on their physical appearance/dress more often then male public officials/figures. Ramos said that equality should not be gender based but based on the commonality that all humans are human.
