John Wesley Coleman III has a prolific indie-rock, folk style he brings forth to the Austin music scene. Other than recording solo works, Coleman’s creativity branches out to standup comedy, painting, writing books and movie scripts enabling him to have a humorous rockabilly. The energy he celebrates in his song Hang Tight, is a call for perseverance-a calm melody reassuring us that we have and it’s going to be ok.

Coleman’s quirkiness shines through his music and his laissez faire attitude comes across as welcoming. It’s apparent Coleman doesn’t take himself too seriously, but don’t be fooled, he is definitely a seasoned entertainer. His playful sound can instantly put a smile on your face, regardless of the mood you’re in. Coleman undisputedly has a way of forming recognizable melodies in his music which makes it easy for the listener to enjoy his tunes. I highly encourage listening to this easy-going artist; you won’t regret it.
