Wednesday Kicks off Bobcat Radio for the Semester

The first show of the semester for the Wednesday edition kicked off yesterday with Host Andrew Zimmel and Co-Host Brenden Snow with fresh faces Olivia Chaney and Jordan Meyers joining the crew.

The started the show with a recap of the 20-11 Texas State win over Houston Baptist University (2:53). Reading over the stats and dissecting how the offense had some hiccups and the smothering defense that many fans have grown accustom to seeing. The Bobcat Crew then broke down the upcoming game against the Colorado Buffalo this Saturday (11:30). Breaking down their last game against rival Colorado State winning 17-3. Andrew and Brenden argued over how much of an impact Buffalo’s Quarterback would make on the game against the Texas State defense. The Crew also talked about the X-Factor that even Head Coach Everett Withers maybe overlooking (25:17). In the second half of the show, San Marcos Rattlers Head Football Coach Mark Soto calls in and helps break down the Rattlers big win to start the season and their upcoming game against Canyon (33:43).

To end the show the Bobcat Crew talked about the Texas State Women’s Soccer team and their upcoming “Teal Game” that benefits cancer research (50:53) and the Volleyball’s upcoming tournament in San Marcos (52:06). The Crew wrapped the show up with their “Mid-Week Spotlight” along with some national news.
