This week, a very special podcast was shared with me from Lindsey Mack’s show, Tarot for the Wild Soul. The episode titled, “September’s Episode: The Leap”, was the one that hit me right in my sweet spot in regards to affirming my faith, that coincidence is a man-made thing. I have been following the belief that everything happens for a reason and everything has purpose. This podcast was shared with me for specific intention and now I am passing it along with the same weighted purpose.

The discourse in this episode presents the idea that September 2017 is the time for a big leap. We are shedding old skins, jobs, people, and schools of thought, to make way for new and more fulfilling ones. It is a time for bittersweet goodbyes. Mack says that what you are saying goodbye to is something that you have worked very hard at for a very long time and in my particular case, this resonated immensely. It is a time for surrendering in the moment to what might feel like failure. However, this process of letting go is so very necessary. We are saying yes to better, even though we don’t know exactly what that looks like. We are being honest with ourselves in answering the question “Is this continuing to feed me and foster my growth?”. And we are taking action if that answer happens to be no.
I, personally had to do that this week. It was a long time coming, but I can tell you that I feel so much freedom from my decision. I have been dealing with the repercussions of giving someone my mind, body, and soul who didn’t deserve it for quite a while now. Slowing taking them back for myself one by one has not been an easy process, but it has been very defining to me as person finding her womanhood.
The ebb and flow of life is a beautiful and tragic masterpiece that we, as humans, are just trying to hold on to. Throughout this journey, one huge thing that I learned was trust. Faith in God and trust in His regard for my well being completely transformed my life. Just having the knowledge that you have purpose and all of your pains are leading you somewhere greater than you can imagine is life-altering.
My words to you are let it be. Let your pride and ego towards holding on to something that is no longer serving your soul’s purpose be. Watch it drift from your body like the petals on a dandelion. Remove the clouds from your judgment and tap into your intuition. That is God speaking to you and guiding you. There is some serious energy in the air. I can feel it- we all can. The question is, what will you do with it?
