There’s no way to celebrate spring like Old Settler’s Music Festival! Come join the party at the 31st annual event this weekend (April 19 through to the 22). This year’s fest will be held at a new site in Tilmon, TX (just southeast of Lockhart). The new site will feature more space for RV campers, car campers, and designated family camping. The folks running Old Settlers are stoked about the wooded rolling hills at their new home as it should create a warm and relaxed open environment.
This years lineup features bands like Greensky Bluegrass, Railroad Earth, Bob Schnieder Jamestown Revival, The Deer, and many more! You’ll be able to catch bluegrass and folk music all day from Thursday to Sunday. For those camping, be sure to make your way to the Camp Shhhtimes shows for a more intimate show experience. Camp Shhhtimes will run every night after the last main act and will feature three bands that will ease you into the late night.
Day passes and weekend/ camping passes are available on the website. Weather you are looking to escape the worlds chaos for the whole weekend or just need a day break, Old Settler’s is where you need to be. Nothing’s better than some quality live music shared with quality people out on the ranch. This years fest is looking like it’s going to be a good one, so grab your friends and family and come celebrate this wonderful time to be alive. The atmosphere is sure to be filled with creativity and good times!
