An Interview with Max Turnbull

I had the pleasure of catching a phone call with Max Turnbull, formerly known as Slim Twig, who just put out a debut album with his band mates under the name Badge Epoque Ensemble that guest features Evan Cartwright and James Baley on the 11-minute track called “Dressed in Solitude.”
Along with talking about the new jazz funk release that came out this summer, we got to talk about how music is like cooking, bands Max listened to in highschool and his experience performing in a church in Toronto, Canada.
