An Interview with Steve Lamos of American Football
By Dylan Holland
Assistant Music Director
I sat and talked with Steve Lamos, drummer for American Football, a post-rock/emo band that gained fame after the release of their 1999 self-titled album, American Football. In this over-the-phone interview, Lamos talks about touring as a professor and father, the growth of American Football’s sound in their newest album, American Football (LP3), working with Hayley Williams, and his favorite swimming spot in New Mexico. Listen to the full interview with this D.I.Y. legend above!
