The Grocery Girl: Best Ways to Shop

I’m back with another post about grocery shopping. I know what you’re probably thinking, “Why should I listen to this girl— and why should I care?” For one, I work at HEB. And two, I am trying to help you be a grocery store expert!

Today, I am going to be talking about the tips and tricks I have learned that will make your trips to the grocery store more pleasant (and hopefully cheaper). The things I am going to be talking about today are coupons, apps and reusable bags.

This is all the items and where they are located in the store you are at so you can find the items more easily. This also shows the prices and details about the items

If you haven’t taken advantage of the HEB coupons, you are missing out. They always have incredible deals on food, cosmetics, toiletries and more. The HEB coupons can be found in the store by the items or sometimes on the HEB app. These coupons will save you so much money, and it’ll probably have you leaving the store feeling more giddy since you saved money while shopping for the essentials.

Next, I am going to talk about the HEB app which is available on iOS or Android. This app is a life-saver, and it has everything you need to know to make your trip quicker and cheaper. I’m recommending the app because you can type the item you want into the search bar and it’ll tell you where it is located in the store.

The app also gives you great coupons and deals at the stores nearest you. I would never have thought to get a grocery store app until I started my job at HEB, but it has changed the way I grocery shop.

The last advice I am going to give you will save you trips and help the environment. I suggest bringing reusable bags next time you grocery shop! You can fit so many more things in a reusable bag than a plastic bag, trust me.

Also, this method will help if you hate making more than one trip from your car. Simultaneously, you also help save the world, one plastic baggie at a time. My pro-tip is to always leave one reusable bag in your car. You never know when you are going to need to make a quick trip to the store.

These tips and tricks are suggestions on what to try next time you go grocery shopping. I hope you try these methods and enjoy them as much as I do! If you take my advice, I promise it’ll do you wonders.
