Right now, you’re about to graduate and say goodbye to all your college friends or like many of us still following the stay at home rules during the pandemic, either way you’re probably missing your friends.

You can keep up with your friends through social media, but you don’t always get the same connection you get while communicating directly with them. This doesn’t mean you have to say goodbye forever.  With technology staying connected with friend is easier than ever.

Scheduling time to meet

Scheduling is important because weather your friend or you are still in school or working it can be hard to make time. So, it’s import to try to schedule in advance to figure out what time and day are best for both of you to meet. Try to even make it a routine and set aside a day and time to meet talk each week.

You can still try to keep things like normal, and what’s more normal then going out to eat with your friends. You can still do this virtually too. Using FaceTime or Zoom to meet up with each other and follow a recipe to cook a meal together. But cooking isn’t the most important part it’s just sitting down to eat and talking about your day.

Workout together

You don’t have to say goodbye to your gym partner. There so many at home workout available to try right. Try a live class, watch a YouTube video, or create your own workout plan. This is a chance to try new workouts such as yoga or Zumba. Working out is always a lot more fun with friends because you can motivate each other even if it’s not in person.

Send a letter the old fashion way

This is not the quickest way but it it’s one sincere way. There is nothing more personal than knowing someone took the time to sit down and write a letter out for you. You can save this for an occasion like a birthday or holidays or just to become pen pals.

Start a book, TV show, Music club

What’s a better way to bond then over a talking about a book your reading? But if books aren’t for you talk about a new album, the new show you’re binging on Netflix or the movie you just saw with the ending you just can’t get over.

Plan a trip together

Plan an adventure for the future. You won’t be apart forever so plan the next time you meet to be memorable! Plan a trip to somewhere you always wanted to go and plan where you’re going to stay and what you’ll do. Maybe it’s to a music festival you always wanted to go to or visiting a foreign country for a week. This will make reuniting with your friends even more exciting.
