SAN MARCOS, Texas- The Hays County Local Health Department has reported an additional new case as of Saturday, May 9.

The county now has a total number of 204 cases with 73 active cases. Four people are currently hospitalized and testing is still currently pending.

According to KVUE, there are at least two fatalities in Hays County with approximately 130 people have recovered from Coronavirus.

The Circuit of the Americas opened up to the public yesterday in Austin allowing drivers to drive the circuit for charity. COTA partnered with Central Texas Food Bank and opened the track for just a day to collect the donations, according to Fox 8. If anyone wishes to donate, they may donate online via the COTA website.
