10/21/20: Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

SAN MARCOS, Texas– Texas State University has not released a COVID-19 update since October 8. The city of San Marcos has not made any updates since September 21.

The University will continue free testing for students and faculty. The on-campus testing kiosk is located at Flowers hall.

Testing is held on Mondays through Fridays between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.. Schedule an appointment or call the University Student Health Center at 512-245-2161 for more information.

The city of San Marcos will continue free testing for the community. The testing location is at Ramon Lucio Park on 601 S. CM Allen Parkway. Testing is daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m..

According to the Hays County COVID-19 dashboard, there are currently 40 active cases in San Marcos.

According to the Texas State University COVID-19 dashboard, there are currently 41 active cases on campus.
