SAN MARCOS, Texas–The Hays County Health Department reported two new COVID-19 fatalities on Wednesday, Nov. 4.
The two fatalities were a San Marcos woman in her 90s and a Buda man in his 80s. These two deaths brought the county’s number of Coronavirus-related fatalities to 91.
There are currently 322 active Coronavirus cases – a 17-case decrease since November 3. There have been 6,265 total cases in the county.
The Hays County Health Department reported 49 additional recoveries from COVID-19, 34 new lab confirmed cases and three hospital discharges on November 4.
Texas State University will continue free COVID-19 testing for students and faculty. The testing kiosk is located in front of Flowers Hall and is available for walk-ups and appointments. The testing kiosk is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. However, you must make an appointment for testing between 12:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.
