Ahh, the Academy Awards, otherwise known as The Oscars, one of the most controversial yet
entertaining of the award shows from the award show season. The Oscars were held on March
12th and had Jimmy Kimmel as the host this year. Now nothing crazy happened this year like last
year. If you don’t remember what I’m talking about, last year was the year that Will Smith
famously slapped Chris Rock after he made a joke about Will’s wife. While nothing nearly that
entertaining happened this year, the Oscars were still worth watching.
“Everything Everywhere All at Once” was the big winner at this year’s Oscars and rightfully
so. I recently watched the movie, and it is definitely one of the best movies I have seen. The
storyline was amazing, the cinematography was beautiful, and the acting was incredible.
Obviously, everyone loved the acting since the cast won best actress, best supporting actress, and
best supporting actor.
Ke Huy Quan won best supporting actor for “Everything Everywhere All at Once”. He is
better known for his youth roles in “Indiana Jones” and “The Goonies”. When he accepted his
award from Harrison Ford aka Indiana Jones, it was a very touching moment to watch. He
deserved his award.
Jamie Lee Curtis won best supporting actress for “Everything Everywhere All at Once.”Jamie has won other awards and has been nominated for a lot of movies, but this is her firstacademy award nomination and win. She is a very well-known actress with some of her morefamous roles being “Halloween” (the franchise), “Freaky Friday”, and “Knives Out.” Herperformances are always phenomenal so I’m not surprised she won.
Michelle Yeoh won best actress for “Everything Everywhere All at Once.” She made history
