SAN MARCOS, Texas –
The Texas State Bobcats secured an impressive 88-42 win over the UNT Dallas Trailblazers on Sunday afternoon, extending their dominance in the all-time series to 3-0.
In their previous meeting during the 2023-24 season, the Bobcats defeated the Trailblazers 79-41. This time, Texas State held a 35-25 lead at halftime despite UNT Dallas ending the second quarter on a 9-0 run to close the gap to 26-25.
The Bobcats broke the game open in the third quarter with a 10-2 run that stretched their lead to 45-27. They outscored the Trailblazers 30-10 in the period, entering the fourth quarter with a commanding 65-35 advantage.

The Trailblazers attempted to drive to the basket in the second half but struggled to convert. Texas State showcased its shooting from beyond the arc, finishing 4-of-9 on the day.
Several players contributed to the Bobcats’ dominant performance. Senior forward Morgan Hill posted 12 points and five rebounds, graduate student forward Nicole Leff added 12 points and six rebounds, redshirt sophomore forward Ebba Zalamans recorded 11 points and five rebounds, and graduate student guard Destiny Terell notched 12 points and nine rebounds. This marked the first game of the season in which four Bobcats scored in double figures.
With the victory, Texas State improved to 5-3 on the season and extended its win streak to three games. The Bobcats will look to continue their momentum on Sunday, Dec. 15, against Denver. Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m.
