Hey guys, it’s a new week so here’s the info on what we’ve got coming up for you.
Monday, Halie and Charlie will be talking with Alex Vogt and Colin Bromley from The Bike Cave.
According to their website, The Bike Cave ” offers low cost tubes and patch kits to allow for on-site tire and tube repairs; work stands for easy bicycle maintenance and repair; basic and specialized bike tools; knowledgeable staff, and training opportunities for those who want to learn how to maintain and repair their bicycles.”
Tuesday, hosts Anyssa Bohanan and Harrison will be talking about Born 2 Hoop, a basketball league with a 3-on-3 tournament coming up next month! You can find out more about the league and how to register your team for the tournament here! They’ll also be interviewing Greg Weatherford, founder of Young People Who Care which gives young people opportunities to volunteer in their communities.
Stick around for our Pop Rocks segment, and we’ll also have Foreign Mothers playing live on-air. Foreign Mother is a 3-piece band of ladies from Austin, Texas with a post-punk sound. This summer saw the release of their LP “DUH” along with a tour, a break and now they’re back doing their live-show thing and this in-studio performance during Other Side Drive so be sure to tune in.
The Dead Exs are going to play Triple Crown on Wednesday night but first they’re going to be in the studio with your hosts Michelle and Melissa during Other Side Drive! They’re a 2-piece rock & roll outfit from New York City with a “gritty blues” sound. The band released their second album, Revolution, earlier this month. Make sure to stay tuned in for Weird News and Tech Talk!
Thursday’s hosts Garrett and Stephanie will be bringing you Campus Activities, Revolutions, and Football Frenzy.
& Friday brings you our On The Other Hand, Meet Your Bobcats, and Player Profile segments from hosts Jose and David. We’ll have our Sports Update throughout the week, along with music reviews and ticket giveaways to the ALT Universe music festival so keep it tuned to KTSW, the other side of radio.
