Newscast: Local Armed Robbery
Around 3:30 A.M. on August 30th, a man described as a black male wearing a gray long sleeve shirt, blue jean, a black baseball hat and a handkerchief covering his face, robbed a person at gunpoint outside of tower residence hall. Ten minutes later, a male falling under the same description robbed another person at gunpoint near Sanctuary Lofts.
Sergeant Alexander Villalobos of the University Police Department describes UPD’s search.
“Currently we’re still awaiting any type of information that would come in from our community. We’re standing by for anything that would help us identify the person who has done this.”

No one was harmed in the alleged robberies. UPD is encouraging people to report any sort of suspicious behavior.
