    Political Science Professor Talks Shutdown

Matt Alvarez got the oppurtunity to talk to Political Science professor, Dr. Jayce Farmer, about the shutdown.

“What really impacts us are things that we basically entail as consumers, that we engage as consumers. For example, the parks; there are no federal parks open today. If you were looking to go spend time with your family out at a national park, it is not gonna happen.”
-Dr. Jayce Farmer

Well if you don’t like the shutdown then you ought to be writing Obama and Reid. They are 100% responsible for it.

Congress will pass a budget in a “New York minutes” just as soon as those two clowns agree to pass it. Its in the Constitution. Congress has the right to fund or not fund parts of the government.

Yeah, Obama and Reid might not get Obamacare this year but the rest of the government would be funded.

Reminds me of the story of the body where all the organs started discussing which was more important. The lungs said without breath the body couldn’t live. The heart said without it blood wouldn’t pump and all would die. Went like this from organ to organ. Finally they got to the asshole. The asshole said no matter what the rest of you do, if I clamp down you will all be full of shit.

I guess that is where Obama and Reid got their strategy. They’re trying to make America full of their shit. :)
