Texas States Army ROTC is hosting a Polar Bear Plunge at our very own Sewell Park. The event will have food, drinks and t-shirts to help benefit a good cause.

Cadet Justin Greg, a member of Texas States Army ROTC, is in charge of the Polar Bear Plunge that will be held on February 15 from 10:00 a.m. until noon at Sewell Park. Pizza, donuts and coffee will be provided by Gumby’s and Krispy Kreme. The fee to participate in the event is $20, and $15 for veterans and seniors. By engaging in this event you will receive an official Polar Bear Plunge t-shirt and refreshments. 100% of the proceeds will support the Disabled American Veterans Organization.
“Well the Texas State Army ROTC MS3s, or the junior class, decided to host this charity event in order to give some money, 100% of the proceeds will be going to DAV.”
– Justin Greg
To pre-register, you can go to the ROTC Adamson Building located at 101 Leuders Drive, across from the Child Development Center.
