Meet the Producers – Leah Hatcher

I am from Amarillo, Texas, 22 years old and a senior at Texas State university. I have very much enjoyed being a part of KTSW this summer, especially for the production team. I love getting an assignment every other week that forces me to sit down and be creative, even if it is only for 15 minutes or however long it takes to write a 30 second element. It really helps break the monotony of the day. I also love sharing that creativity with someone new in the studio every week. This element idea came from something we all do, which is scanning the radio to either avoid commercials or to find something that we can sing along to/something that interests us.
