Artist: We Are The In Crowd

Starting their sophomore album off with a bang, Tay Jardine belts the anthem “Long Live The Kids” that will have all the “weird kids” out there singing for days.
We Are The In Crowd gets straight to the point with the essential breakup track of the year with “The Best Thing (That Never Happened).” This track has catchy synths and great vocals that will make forgetting your ex a piece of cake by dancing and singing. The following track, “Manners,” may be slightly calmer than its predecessor, but it’s a song you definitely don’t want to skip. The lyrics speak right to your heart.
Slowing it down with an incredible acoustic-led number, “Come Back Home” takes their fans down another stylistic road. This is where the band’s honest, heartfelt lyrics are at their best with lines like “Every night since you’ve been gone/ I still leave the light on” showing that beneath the rock hard surface is a band you can really get to know and love.
Dropping another soul wrenching track that opens the door to Jardine’s heart is the beautifully performed “Windows In Heaven.” Completely stripping the music down to its core, the haunting voice of her pain is put on full display. After having your heart rate lowered from “Come Back Home” and eyes dried from “Windows In Heaven,” We Are The In Crowd’s next tracks “Attention” and “Dreaming Out Loud” bring something for the heavy pop-punk fans with hard hitting, gritty riffs and electric guitar tracks.
The relentless, energy-filled album closes with a huge track that shows how much the band has matured over the years and put everything they learned together to create a perfect album. “Reflections” truly symbolizes the band’s own reflection. We Are The In Crowd has created a diverse album that communicates to a wide variety of listeners with their unique, honest lyrics and, for that reason, will have much success.
