Hosts DaLyah Jones and Jacquelyn Carter discuss Elections for this week’s In the Public Interest show. Hear them discuss voting experiences and the topic “Does the Presidential Election matter more than local elections?”

Angelica Buitron starts off by covering the topic of Millennials Voting. Listen to hear interviews from Texas State University students and poll workers on why or why they aren’t voting.

Carlos Marquez follows by discussing a movement launched by Party Politics to increase voter participation by trying to make the political process a fun one.

DaLyah Jones takes it back as she covers an act that was voted and signed over 50 years ago. Listen as she celebrates the Higher Education Act and how it affects students financially.
