The Bobcats lose their fourth straight game in a 45 to 10 loss handed to them by the Wyoming Cowboys. Luckily for the Cats, this will be the last non-conference opponent they have to face this season. The Cats hung around for a little while, but at the end of the day they couldn’t stop the NFl QB prospect Josh Allen from having a field day. He finished with a QBR of 176.2 ,and threw for 219 yards with three touchdowns added to that. Johnson(#14) for the Cowboys led the way receiving with 57 yards and two TD’s. The third TD for the Cowboys was hauled in by Conway(#25). The leading rusher for the Cowboys was Trey Woods with an amount of 63 yards on 21 carries. The Bobcats run defense was solid for the most part. Bobcats were hurt most by giving up two defensive touchdowns. Wilson for the Cowboys had an 18 yard fumble return for a touchdown, and Gafford poured salt in the wound when he was able to pick off Damian Williams for a 37 yard interception to the house. That return was by number 9 for the Cowboys (Hall). Texas State only had 1 touchdown on offense, and that was a pass from Williams to Elijah King.

The Bobcats move to 1-4 on the season, and remain 0-1 in conference play. Their next game will be next Saturday against the ULM Warhawks with a 2 p.m. kickoff right here in San Marcos. Catch the pregame at 1:45 p.m. on KTSW 89.9!
