For most people, fall is the best time of the year for its cool weather (sometimes, it is Texas after all), pumpkin spiced everything and everything nice. One of the most iconic of these magical holidays is Halloween, which is right around the corner. So what are your plans? If you don’t have any yet, worry not! San Marcos is a lively city with plenty of spooky and fun Halloween events going on. My top pick would be Monster Mash for its killer local music lineup!
The Monster Mash will be hosted by Magazinerecords in collaboration with Silver Sinnott (KIVA’s Underground Tuesday booking executive) and will be taking place Thursday, Oct. 26th at KIVA Lounge. This event features three stages, is open to all ages and only has a $5 cover charge. Tickets can be bought in advance on KIVA’s website. (Linked below!) Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show lasts from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m.! COSTUMES ARE ENCOURAGED!
