Monday’s show always starts the week off with a bang, and January 29 was no different. The group that includes Alex Gibbs and Dominic Ansley talked about the Senior Bowl where five Sun Belt Conference players showcased their skills for NFL Scouts and GMs alike, all looking for a way to get drafted in this March’s NFL draft. Also this weekend, the NFL had their Pro Bowl where the AFC was able to beat the NFC (adding more insult to the Vikings season).

The group also talked about the Texas State women’s basketball team who now have two record holders in Taeler Deer and Toshua Leavitt. Deer, now second all time in assists for a Texas State player, broke the Texas State record for assists in a single game with 14 against Georgia State Saturday. Also, Leavitt tied her record of 10 three-pointers in a single game as well.

At the 11:28 mark, freshman guard Shelby Adams joined the crew to talk about the men’s team and their offensive struggles. What we learned was that this team is a defensive first minded team and that the offense will stem from forcing turnovers and getting into transition, something this team is very good at when they are at their best.

Finally the group made their Super Bowl predictions, with it going 2-1 in favorite of the Patriots.
