SXSW: Sudan Archives
Sudan Archives performed on South Congress, at South By San Jose during South By South West. Her music is a mix of EDM, R&B, and Gospel. Her tracks used a lot of tribal drum beats and on stage, she danced around with very flowy motions and an ethereal vibe. Her face would light up when she played a certain melody on her electric violin and the sound seemed to echo through the parking lot. She told me a little bit about her background and inspiration for making music.
Her upcoming shows will be held in California in April at The Empire Polo Club.
