For International Woman’s Day, I want to highlight my favorite YouTuber, Jenna Marbles. I have been a fan of Marbles and her boyfriend, Julien Solomita, for about three years now.

As of now, they own four dogs: Marble, Kermit, Peach and Bunny. Each one of them, except for Bunny (which they recently found out), are a Gemini and Bunny is a Pieces. Marbles is a Virgo and Solomita is an Aries, their zodiac signs are very important to them and they often mention it in their videos, podcasts and Twitch streams.

Now, why do I love Marbles so much? How can I not? She is an amazing human being! One of the purest YouTubers on the platforms! She literally creates any kind of video she wants that can be complete nonsense and uploads it. Guess what? I am still going to watch each of her videos, no matter what it is! You never know what you’re going to get, but she keeps getting millions of views.

I kid you not, Marbles literally uploaded a 10-minute video of her napping as a way to celebrate her gaining 20 million subscribers. She does not have a care in the world about what she uploads, as long as she is enjoying what she is doing in the video and having fun.

Not to mention, Marbles is the same person and has uploaded the same kind of content throughout her career.  She is not one of those people who shows off their wealth or her big house like other big YouTubers. Her content does not revolve around her wealth, it is content that she wants to do.

One of the things Marbles is known for are her dogs. Most of her videos have her dogs in it and some even revolve around them. From how her dogs are shown and the inside jokes in the community, everyone has the same nicknames for each dog.

Marble is the cute small chihuahua that never really knows where he is at until he sees Marbles. Kermit is the “nasty boy” that is always crying and is an Italian greyhound. Peach is the other Italian greyhound who is money hungry, currently owes Marbles money and is Solomita’s ex-sous-chef. Bunny is their most recent dog they have adopted who is a rescue greyhound, a “horse” and her nickname is “Yes.”

They are all amazing dogs and Marbles have been very patient and loving to them. You could see through her videos how much she loves them all and she does so much for her dogs.

Marbles is shamelessly herself and I love that about her. She literally brings joy into my life. I just love everything about her. She knows how to acknowledge her mistakes and fix them, and how to communicate with her audience. Marbles is like a breath of fresh air and a Virgo who is a 33-year-old lady.

Games are for Girls, Too

By Lauren RabalaisWeb Content Contributor I remember when I got a Nintendo DS for Christmas.  I was young, probably no older than 7 years old, and I had been so excited to get the new gaming system that all my friends had. Coming with my gift had been my first DS game, "Super Princess Peach."  At the time, I was delighted. I didn’t consider that I was already being shoe-horned into […]
