Everything you need for a Spooky Basket

With Halloween slowly closing in, the yearly trend of “spooky baskets” is coming back. Every year, couples and friends give each other Halloween baskets filled with little Halloween themed presents that spark envy on social media.

If gift-giving is not your forte, below is a list of Halloween goodies that are essential to any Spooky Basket.

A Bucket

The first thing you need for a spooky basket is a bucket. These can be found at any grocery store with Halloween decorations.

The basket can be a typical orange jack o’ lantern or it can be someone’s favorite color. This is also where all of the goodies will be held, so make sure it is big enough.

Candy

A typical Halloween treat is candy; whether you are a sweet or savory person, candy goes well in any basket.

Big bags of Halloween candy work very well for this and you can buy an assortment of candy to ensure that your person will love the candy.

Graphic T-Shirt

A good addition to your basket would be a graphic t-shirt. The shirt can include the person’s favorite band, food, tv show, game, etc. Cheap but quality shirts can often be found at Target, Walmart and 5-Below.

Halloween Themed Knick Knacks

Another great addition would be Halloween themed knick-knacks. A lot of stores that carry Halloween decor also carry small presents that can be substituted for candy on Halloween night.

These knick-knacks can include bubbles, bouncy balls, headbands, socks and small decor. If you are not a big fan of sweets, these small gifts are a great option and fill space in your basket.

Snacks

Why have all of this in a bucket without snacks? Salty snacks make everyone happy and there are many Halloween themed snacks to choose from.

Consider buying small packs for the snacks to go well in the bucket.

Drinks

If you have candy and snacks, you have to finish it off with one or two bottles of someone’s favorite drink. This could be soda, energy drinks, or anything your person loves.

Lastly, a large present always goes well in a basket. This can be a book, jewelry, or anything your person wants.

Halloween starts the beginning of the holiday season, and what better way to celebrate this holiday than dressing up and giving someone a spooky basket filled with their favorite items.
