Texas State forward Jaylin Foster drops 13 points, seven boards, and six assists, leading the Bobcats past the Denver Pioneers 72- 46.
Foster’s 13 points became her highest recorded as a Bobcat. Foster went 4-8 from the field, shooting 50 percent while also being perfect from the line, going 4-4. Foster’s four of seven rebounds came on the offensive end, where the Bobcats were dominant all night out rebounding the Pioneers 39 to 23.

Texas State (6-3) came into the Thursday night matchup after taking a 15 point road loss to the Oklahoma State Cowboys. Coach Zenarae Antoine spoke about how the Bobcats continue to improve, regardless of the result of the game.
“The one thing that I really appreciate about our team is the understanding that you need to be able to go from a game, whether it was a win or loss,” Antoine said. “Find a way to answer for things we need to get better at. That’s what we saw tonight. We did a really good job of making sure that we were focused on scout but also focused on us and what we need to do and what we need to get better at.”
Gara Beth Self got the Bobcats off to a hot start, connecting on two of the Bobcats’ three made shots from beyond the arch. The Bobcats would go 3-6 from three-point range, shooting 50 percent in just the first quarter, jumping out to a 22 -13 lead and holding it the rest of the game.
