Buda police seek 5 suspects involved in apartment robbery

BUDA– Buda police arrested one suspect on Sept. 5 involved in an aggravated robbery at an apartment last month and are asking for the public’s help in locating the other five suspects involved.

Around 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 31, 2025, the Buda Police Department responded to a call for a report of an aggravated robbery inside a residence at an apartment complex located in the 1400 block of Cabela’s Drive, according to a press release.

According to the victim, she returned to her apartment and found six individuals already inside. A physical altercation occurred and the victim was struck in the face before the suspects stole a piece of a firearm from her property.

Daniel Medrano Jr., 18, of Buda, was arrested in Travis County on Sept. 5 and charged with burglary of habitation, engaging in organized criminal activity and aggravated robbery.

Police have identified and issued arrest warrants for Mycha Moore, 18, for burglary of habitation and engaging in organized criminal activity, and Christian Hodge-Tolbert, 17, for burglary of habitation, engaging in organized criminal activity and aggravated robbery.

Three female individuals involved in the incident have not yet been identified. Investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying these individuals and determining their whereabouts.

“Detectives are still looking into locating these individuals, talking to potential witnesses and looking at surveillance footage,” said Matt Schima, Public Information Officer for the Buda Police Department.

“We need to make sure we have the right people and get as much information to make as solid a case as possible.”

Buda Police warns to not approach or attempt to confront these individuals.

The investigation remains ongoing, and the preliminary information is subject to change. The suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty through the justice system.
