By Ally Bolender Assistant Web Content Manager With nearly 100 novels, 200 short-stories and at-least 83 movies based on his work, Stephen King’s writing and story-telling is something of its own kind. Because of that and his constant need to pump out more work, I haven’t even come close to reading even the most influential ones yet. But, I have read upwards to thirty of his novels and short stories. […]
By Pearce O’Neal Music Journalist The familial rap group Griselda, consisting of brothers Westside Gunn and Conway The Machine, along with cousin Benny The Butcher, are keeping the hardcore street feeling of 90’s rap alive. All three had a big year in 2019 which ended with their debut album as a group. They gathered momentum and support to propel them into another big year. Nowadays, some people think of the […]
By Timia Cobb Web Content Contributor It’s sad to say that many people didn’t even want to read subtitles until late 2019 when “Parasite” won multiple awards and was raved about by everyone. However, when “Parasite” gained the attention it deserved it also brought awareness to how western countries purposely ignore non-english speaking shows or movies. For years US film and TV companies have made foregin speaking films/shows into remakes, downplaying and disrespecting the […]

By Chelyse Prevost Web Content Contributor Shortly after writing Sunday Scaries, I came to realize how ironic life really is. I was in a creative thinking class when my professor knocked me out of a vivid daydream about my other priorities while doing an exercise about our task management tendencies (yikes). We discussed the pros and cons of over-anticipating tasks versus procrastinating them and voted on which one we experienced […]
By Zoe Elter Music Journalist With the recent international rise of K-pop, many people (myself included) have positively crossed boundaries with the music they listen to.
