San Marcos ISD Cancels School For Great Flood

Last Thursday, many students woke up to emergency alerts about flash flood warnings in San Marcos. Over night, the city of San Marcos received over nine inches of rain leaving Sewell Park and Aquarena Springs flooded. Red Cross on Central Texas Storms

After heavy rains and flash flood warnings this past weekend, the Red Cross is fixing the damages and preparing for more storms to come this week. Volunteers are going around to neighborhoods heavily affected by the storms in South Austin and surrounding communities to access the damage.
