Adopt Don’t Shop: Meet Isabelle!

My first impression of Isabelle was that I wanted to take her home immediately. Now, that’s my impression with most dogs I meet, but Isabelle blew me away. She had such a calm personality despite the commotion around her from the other dogs in the shelter. You could tell she was excited to see me because her ears perked up.

In the shelter you are used to hearing all the dogs barking at the same time for attention, but when you see Isabelle she is sitting patiently waiting to be noticed. I decided to take her out to take her out to play and see how she behaves. She was more than happy to play with me although she did not pay attention to the tennis balls.

As other dogs walked by the area, she did not bark or panic, which to me is a great sign that she is a well behaved dog. She would be a great friend to other dogs and children. Also if you are not a fan of big dogs then her size is perfect because she is so small, she’s perfect for any household.
