Nightmare on Younger Street

Local band Wezmer announced the music lineup for their Halloween-themed block party “Nightmare on Younger Street: A Block Party Spooktacular” taking place on Oct. 27 here in San Marcos. The event will feature local bands, three haunted houses and various other attractions for attendees.

“Nightmare on Younger Street” will open its doors at 114 Younger St. at 7:30 p.m. and will span Wezmer’s three adjacent houses. Shows will begin at 8 p.m. and performers include:

“We just want everyone to have a nice, safe experience in our homes and get a glimpse into the artistry that San Marcos has to offer,” said Wezmer’s Branson Fairbrother.

There will be a $5 cover at the door, $3 for attendees in costume, and all proceeds will go to the bands. Once inside, attendees will have access to a variety of vegan foods, band merchandise, and student-made art available for purchase.

For attendees 21 and up, the event is BYOB.
