Desarey Elizondo Lopez Music Journalist The anticipation of the crowd was suffocating as we awaited in the cool night for the headliner to begin. Then the lights dimmed and the crowd erupted into cheering as each of the members of the band stepped onstage and the music burst from the speakers. This past Sunday I had the opportunity to catch one of my favorite bands live for the first time: […]
Desarey Elizondo Lopez Music Journalist This year’s Levitation has blown me away and might have been the most fun I’ve experienced. I was able to see so many bands live that I hadn’t seen or even heard of before, and of course a few I’ve already had the opportunity to experience such as Die Spitz, Grocery Bag and Her New Knife. Each day brought a unique experience with different bands […]

Ethan McConnell Music Director Everyone has seen rollouts for festivals here and there, like Rolling Loud, ACL, Coachella, the big shows everyone yearns to experience at least once in their lifetime. Here at KTSW, I’m not here to give the spotlight to the big steppers; they get enough promotion on their own. All Points East is a festival that takes place in East London’s Victoria Park, hosting […]
Cash Arenas Music Journalist The year 2024 was a great year for a lot of things in music, with albums from some of the most prominent names in music, such as Tyler, the Creator's Chromakopia, Kendrick Lamar's GNX, and, of course, Charli XCX's Brat, which took the world by storm, pioneering the term “Brat Summer”.
